Tonight the streets are panting plainsong
Money hides in mattress caverns
Aviation dreaming listless-
Days ago in vineyards ripened
In legacy the sun was cultured-
Umbilical and softly ruined
Godless lanterns quiver mischief
A prayer for my father wafting
Absent children cattle starless
Dante vapid in refrain
Some frail messiah’s muffled wingspan
Semi-circled out of body
